@marcoarment With the performance that @matt_birchler‘s getting out of Quick Subtitles, I was a little surprised that you didn’t go the local transcript route. Seems like it would account for the DAI problem too. But you like centrally supplying the transcripts better?

@jarrod Might’ve found my first macOS 26 app casualty. @rizzi‘s Reeder Classic doesn’t seem to recognize swipe gestures from my mouse or trackpad on feed items anymore. 🙁 I loved that feature! It was so fluid and made Reeder feel way faster than any other RSS app. Hope I’m wrong.

@jarrod Maybe I’d feel differently if I was used to a 32-inch 6K display, but I really feel like 27-inch 5K is an ideal size. Not too big, not too small. Might not even use the laptop’s display as a secondary screen anymore!

@jarrod Getting my display up to a more ergonomic height is much, much better. Didn’t realize I’d been holding my neck weird with the other one.
