@jarrod (BTW, importing your passwords into 1Password from Apple Passwords will not offer any smarts about merging duplicates. You just end up with double all your passwords. Ask me how I know. 😝)

@grubz Cross-platform isn’t really on my needs list, and I, too, like the Apple Passwords app overall. 1Password just has such a lead on it, feature-wise. As long as it continues to advance, I think I could switch someday.

@samwarnick The secure notes and non-login items are the biggest omission, but I also prefer the keyboard shortcuts for logins on macOS, having a login’s password history, and more other little stuff. I think Apple Passwords is great for most people, but I’ve built up too much muscle memory and history with 1P to switch to something less capable right now. Maybe someday!

@numericcitizen Yeah, I’m apt to agree with your prediction here. I’m not ready to count them out of live presentations forever, but I think it won’t happen until there’s some turnover at the top. You get good at the stuff you practice, and they’re been practicing recorded events for years now.

@amerpie I’m a beta guy for everything except my phone and watch. The two places I can’t sacrifice the battery life or tolerate system failures. Been looking forward to updating those today!
