Always fun to hear about places I know on a podcast. I used to drive through Oberlin to go to my camp. It’s an awesome little college town and if you’re there you’ve gotta visit The Feve and get their tater tots. Super cool news about this using sheep to manage the mowing under the solar array. ⏯️

Light Mrs. Maisel spoiler: My wife and I loved Mei, and her and Joel’s storyline in S4. So we were taken aback at her abrupt exit at the start of S5. Thinking about it again, we wondered if she’d landed a bigger role. Uh, yep. I’d say starring as Joy in Everything Everywhere All at Once counts!
I’m weirdly getting an error page when trying to access Instagram on my Mac in Safari. It made me think that Make.com’s access had been cut off, but, no, it’s browser-wide even going to the base instagram.com domain. FireFox login worked just fine. 🤷♂️

It’s a beautiful Memorial Day weekend with a rare holiday off from work and I’m inside fighting off an illness. 🤧 I feel both proud of myself for not pushing my body, and disappointed that I’m missing out on perfect day for an outdoor adventure. At least I’m catching up on some writing and reading.
I couldn’t help myself, here’s where I’ve been. I love that seeing these pop up all day has felt like an ad-hoc Micro.blog community event. And it instigated me kicking off a few other little experimental projects. 👨🔬
Is this app metadata layout new in App Store search? I kind of like its compactness.
This is often what happens when I try to catch up on sleep by napping during the day. I end up staying awake way too late afterwards and perpetuate the exhaustion.
Here it is 2AM again, long past when I should’ve gone to sleep. Instead, I spent a couple hours writing a blog post that I thought would be a quickie. And then retried to troubleshoot the video upload woes I’ve had with Micro.blog. I fixed the broken posts but am still unsure of what finally worked.
Holy smokes, this privacy video from Apple in China is something else. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them have a person embody the Apple brand before. Even in the Mac vs. PC ads, the guy was a Mac, not Apple itself. Entertaining though, and seems bold to put out in notoriously un-private China.
