What a joy to work with friends! Brittany booked a personal instruction day to firm up a bunch of climbing skills so that she can be an even better mentor for her friends. We ran drills on building efficient trad anchors, setting up top ropes while maintaining personal safety, belayed rappels, and mechanical advantage systems for helping climbers who need a little boost. She brought a solid foundation of experience to build upon, so today was mostly about dialing in those systems for comfort and efficiency. And we snuck in a little mock leading at the end of the day. It makes me happy to see people put in the work just so that they can help others get into climbing, and be a more skillful climbing partner. You rock, @keepontrekkingg!
