Alright friends-with-long-hair, I’m going for it for the first time. Should I be doing anything special during this awkward mid-length phase? Get a trim? Just let it go?

@jarrod your mileage may vary of course, but I did nothing for a year and a half then got my first trim this month.
Average day now:
@jarrod also wear a lot of hair bands and hats and beanies when things are looking too crazy.
you just need to go through it. I had a phase where I was wearing a small hair clip to keep the bangs out of my eyes.

@habibcham @jarrod gotta just let it go! I’ve grown mine down to my shoulders 2-3 times in my life and you just have to kind of own it until it’s cool.
Full disclosure though, I tend to give up and shave my head after a year or two, like I recently did 😂
