@Viditb 😍

@daringfireball I’m somewhat surprised they needed to make any changes at all, since iOS and iPadOS have only ever had software indicators.

@mindofaaronw 🙌

@jsonbecker I think they’re neat

@sigmund Hey! 👋

@simonbc Very clean! Just spitballing, but could be kind of helpful to have a bunch of blog prompts faded as the background.

@miguelmanalo Had to reschedule my March one. Earliest opening was September. 🙃

@gregmorris Quite sad, tbh.

@manton Yep, if they wanted it, they should have gotten in on the ground floor. Partnering with Google instead was another nail in the coffin.

@patrickrhone yes, he mentioned that!

@mgs I wonder what fraction of developers is paying 30%. I have to assume the vast majority is at 15% with the small business program.

@numericcitizen My wife has been using an iPad Pro for a few years now as her primary computer, but I’ll be curious if she’ll want a Neo or another iPad when the time comes to replace it. She might be too ingrained with the iPad and its media apps/games!

@numericcitizen The real question… what color? 😉

@mroutley It’s been a while since I tried putting anything else in there along with my Micro.blog timeline. Might be worth another test!

@relay @stephenrobles @macsparky Really excellent interview, fellas. And what an engaging, vibrant, and enthusiastic guest in @davidpogue.com! I wasn’t sure if I was going to read the book, but after this episode, I’m champing at the bit! Especially knowing that he voiced the audiobook himself — it’s always special when an author does that.

@matt_birchler Careful not to rip a hole in the space-time continuum over there!

@jarrod Thanks to @viticci for documenting the Settings app’s deep-links. 🙌

@jarrod Another pesky, error-causing reply.

A screenshot of a Twitter conversation with an embedded code snippet. The tweet mentions a feature of Blot for blog hosting and includes code for the entry.html template. The code provides HTML structure for “previous” and “next” post links, utilizing placeholders for URL, title, and date.

@jarrod Had to remove the following reply due to a syntax error that was causing problems rebuilding my site. Screenshotted and re-replied here for posterity!

A conversation with a code snippet. The discussion mentions fixing a root problem by adding code to replies.html and single.html templates. The code is for adding a responsive “Replying to” feature with an avatar and links to usernames or hostnames. The HTML template includes conditions for displaying URLs and styles for the avatar image.

@rscottjones Nice! I’ll keep my eye out.

That’s kind of my strategy with the outdoors stuff. Post and connect with folks via Instagram, but I’ve got a Make.com workflow set to automatically crosspost from there to my Micro.blog. Best of both worlds with only a little hassle.

@samwarnick I did love Mona when I was on Mastodon proper. And I used Spring when I was on Twitter! Such a great, customizable app.

@jarrod The one improvement I keep hoping that @rizzi will make is to allow us to flip the timeline sorting so that newest posts are on the bottom. It’s never made sense to me to have new items on the top of of a timeline. Your eyes have to jump over the content of each post to find its beginning as you scroll up. I’d rather simply read from top to bottom.

@rscottjones That sounds really powerful! Anywhere I can see an example?

P.S. The link to BlogPrompts.fyi on rscottjones.com actually points to a OnePhoto.club page.

@nickheer Everywhere is eastward if you keep going far enough. 😆

@tvaziri I struggled to set up networked Time Machine last year. I should have known just to look at @ismh86’s site. Bookmarked!

@dave Looks like it’s got it’s own API! help.micro.blog/t/feeds-s…
