@canion I’ve been very happy with iCloud custom domains. I used to do a lot more email than I do these days, but have always seemed to manage alright with Spark + iCloud/whatever work email system I had at the time. I flirted briefly with HEY, but couldn’t justify the price + lock-in when I was already pretty efficient.
