In December, Apple Park Visitor Center launched a new range of white and black t-shirts inspired by vintage Apple designs. Some popular picks from previous seasons have also returned. My two favorites, “Hello Screen” and “Macintosh Drawing,” taken from the Macintosh 128k box, seem fitting for the Mac’s upcoming 40th anniversary. It’s my understanding that, for a few more weeks, these same shirts are also available at Apple Infinite Loop.

Hard to overstate how pointed this feels after all the consternation about emojis/tapbacks in Messages. Hopefully the Messages team will get the (heh) message that this is a way better solution.

Spent most of the day with the power out, but luckily our wood-burning stove was up to the task of keeping us warm enough. Even got out to play in the snow a bit, making a snow penguin and tossing snowballs for the pup! ❄️

I completed the pre-December trifecta by getting in my first Nordic ski of the year today. All the way up and down Whiteface Mountain Memorial Highway with my best furry buddy. 🐶⛷️🏔️📷

Got in my first ice climb of the year, and before December 1st! Felt great to swing some tools again — it’s gonna be a great season. ⛏️❄️📷

It was Christmas tree hunting day, one of my favorite days of the year. We got a real honker to fill up our new tall ceilings, and the house has never smelled better! David Sparks’ ‘Yule’ playlist served as background for the festivities. 🎄📷
