Eric and I had a lovely time climbing today at Sharp Bridge Campground β€” an under-rated crag for sure! Eric’s preparing for an @amga1979 single pitch instructor exam, so we brushed up on some top managed site skills like building multi-use anchors, belayed rappels, and assisted raises. We also got to practice how to rappel when you drop your ATC! πŸ˜… Once things had dried out, we rounded out the afternoon with cragging the awesome moderates there. Always a splendid time with this fellow, and the wildlife hanging out there too. (Snake was basking midway up the Monkey route β€” watch out!)

A climber wearing a helmet and blue shirt is standing on a rock while managing a climbing rope among tall trees in a forest. A coiled dark snake rests in the shade of a rocky crevice surrounded by textured stones and shadows creating a secluded natural setting. A bright orange salamander is crawling on a mossy rock surface surrounded by scattered pine needles and patches of green moss.
