Wow, just the three colors for the Apple Watch this year? The polished black is nice, but that’s not a wide range to meet people’s fashion needs.

Have we had any mention of a smaller size yet? I can’t imagine they’re going for just one case size this year, but all they’re talking about is the big screen.

The satin black color looks sick, but not as sick as that sick-as-hell titanium Milanese loop. Bummed that there’s not a bump to Ultra 3 though…I was hoping to upgrade from Ultra 1 for refreshed battery life.

I’d be happier to see a camera bar like the Pixel phones, but moving away from the large square camera bump is a nice change.

I’ve said it before, but the satellite messaging features are a huge part of my pull toward upgrading my phone this year. It might let me ditch my $25/month Garmin satellite messaging plan. That’s a notable portion of a new phone’s cost over two years!

That’s a pretty good upgrade for the non-Pro iPhones. Let’s see what they’re gonna do for Pro, though. I actually thought the Camera Control was gonna be a Pro-only feature.

Woohoo! I’m unreasonably excited that the titanium frame isn’t super shiny. That’d be too gaudy for 2024.

6.3” screen on the smaller Pro. I already know it’s going to feel huge, but hopefully I can get used to it. I think my last iPhone Pro had a 6.1” screen.

I’ll be honest, I kinda zone out during the Apple silicon segments like I do during the game segments. I trust they’ve made a killer chip, but the “speeds and feeds” goes over my head.

That multi-layer feature for Voice Memos sounds like it would have been perfect for Music Memos, which I still don’t understand why they killed.

I’m so mad about music memos. It just started fully crashing for me on the iOS 18 beta. I’ve been holding on.

Via apple.com, macOS Sequoia, iPadOS 18, iOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2 are all coming out not only in the same week but all on the same day: September 16. tvOS 18 doesn’t seem to have a page, but I’m going to assume it’s getting released then, too. That’s a double Bingo, y’all!
