The Rabbit r1 is intriguing.
your pocket companion
Haven’t quite wrapped my head around it yet, but the teachable “large action model” feels like a solid step forward. I don’t really want another gadget to carry around in my pocket though. It’s the sort of thing that embodies “you’re a feature, not a product” and it’s gotta be coming to smartphones soon enough.
Something I’ll be keeping my eye on, to be sure. At $199, it’s one of the most accessible Teenage Engineering products I’ve seen, and almost worth it just to get my hands on one of their designs.
I’d love to see a deep-dive on TE. They must get pitched so many partnerships; I’d be fascinated to hear about their process and how they’ve come up with the distinctive TE-style.
@jarrod I started looking at te product tonight to see what I could afford. I’d love to actually try a product they made
@jarrod this article is more of a personal interview of the founder of TE, but interesting nonetheless https://scandinavianmind.com/feature/human-touch-interview-jesper-kouthoofd-teenage-engineering
I’d also like to see something about how they decide what partnerships to take on. So interesting for a company to be able to keep a distinctive style even when doing work for others.
@mbxtr Ooh! Thanks for sharing!
