I prefer to use them at the end. To me it’s a tag and tags go after the content. Just my two peanuts worth as it’s all personal preference at the end of the day. Your post and blog, your preferences.
I think that tagmojis at the start of the post looks better in archive view on website, where they would otherwise be truncated away. Quite often find myself conflicted between what looks better on site v what looks better on timeline.

I generally prefer tags/tagmojis after or within the content…. but then I put them up front which lists better on my site.
