The next round in making streaming services unusable. I have the feeling that the golden age of streaming is over. And relating to this:
I recently heard (can’t remember where) that apart from Netflix, Prime Video has the most content available of all the streaming platforms.
That is interesting in the short time I had a subscription to it, I was troubled finding any content I wanted to watch. And the biggest issue was that the UI was constantly pushing content which did not have an audio track or subtitles in the languages I prefer (or understand). Having much content does not help when you can’t find it.
I’m actually okay with having ad plans and ad-free plans. And I think I’m still optimistic about streaming in general. But you might be right that a “golden age” of relatively cheap services (and lots of them!) is coming to a close.
