After reading your linked article, I only learned now that the em dash with spaces around it is technically accepted as a way to type them. I thought all this time it was wrong… 😆
Also appreciating en dashes here. But I hope they can make the character a bit more accessible in terms of typing it 😅

@chiawase I’m considering using a text replacement to make it easier, but adding a shift didn’t seem too bad earlier.
I use en dashes with a space before and after. Dealing with the dash
@LeoWong There’s a lot to digest in that article. It at least makes me feel better about all the text I’ve put out there with spaced en dashes thus far.
