@caspercdn I don't think so. Probably that new charging/pairing mechanism built around the camera module.
@odd It's still there, no worries. 😌 Just a bit neglected.
@jarrod At a rough count, I think I got 5/10 on my predictions. Will do a more detailed review later.
@jarrod It's not software day, so expecting a Mac Virtual Display was a stretch. But man, can you imagine if they introduced a macOS-mode. All their hype about blowing away what you can do on an iPad had me thinking maybe they were going to do it after all. And then @ismh might not have been sad about an iPad getting the M4 chip first if it was also a Mac. But alas.
@jarrod Regular iPad got a price cut (nice!) and pushed out the 9th-gen with the Home Button (also nice!) but the iPad mini didn't get any love today. Updates didn't quite span the entire lineup there, Tim.
@jarrod Woof. $1630 for a new (cellular) setup. Gonna have to think on that for a minute.
@jarrod Procreate is just the coolest app.
@jarrod Oooh! That tool pallet via a squeeze of the Pencil is slick.
@jarrod A solid update for the iPad Pro's Magic Keyboard. Got the function row and bigger/better trackpad. No USB-C data passthrough though, I don't think.
@jarrod That camera module looks kinda interesting. And just one lens it seems?
@jarrod (Good belaying technique from that actress, btw.)
@jarrod Final Cut Camera looks super cool, and I'll never use it.
@pratik Indeed. Betting against Gurman is long odds these days.
@jarrod A climbing gym set!? It's like they made this event just for me!
@jarrod 4x improvement over last generation iPad Pro is a pretty great jump.
@jarrod Why did they just compare to the Neural Engine of the A11 Bionic? Just for a big number? How much better than M3?
@jarrod I think it's pretty clear that Tom Millet will be the next head of silicon after Srouji.
@pratik 👏
@jarrod Oh man, they're doing it. M4 indeed!
@jarrod Ultra Retina XDR. "Ultra" claims another product as its own.
@jarrod Holy smokes, Tandem OLED displays? No one saw that coming. Sounds expensive. 😳
@jarrod "Thinnest Apple product ever." Beat out the previous title-holder, the iPod nano, which held it for...gosh, a decade?
@jarrod Ah, clever. It's very thin.
@jarrod Didn't realize this was the Hydraulic Press channel.
@jarrod They're certainly talking this thing up. I'm excited!
