@joshuapsteele I can tell you that I'm feeling less and less positively toward Threads. It seems to be following in Twitter's footsteps, and I don't really say that as a compliment. Instagram is still a happy place for me. And I've started crossposting from Insta to Facebook again, mainly because of my business but also because nieces and nephews are growing up, and that's where family things are shared. But I'm always prepared to walk away.

@matt True it seems. P.S. Is that a Genmoji? I've been curious about how they'd look on the web!

@matt I thought I beat your challenge because it didn't pop up when I opened the app, but in checking for updates, there was indeed one waiting for me. 😆

@sindresorhus Nice! ✅

@sindresorhus Ideally, a link that would bring me back to the file in Finder if such a thing exists.

@jarrod @sindresorhus Oh, that's probably what 'Copy File URL' does, huh?

@sindresorhus Deep link to file, if possible.

@jarrod My high school band director was the same way. We had no business performing at the level that he expected out of us. But it was from him that I learned people will rise to the expectations you set. And the ones who won’t, you might not have wanted on your team anyway.

@cliffordbeshers Incredible shot. 🏆

@gabz there’s snow, so… 😈

@ericmwalk Oh that’s awesome!

@vincent I’m on iOS 18.2 beta 2, but the public version of Micro.blog. I don’t fault Mb because of the 18 beta.

@lmika Right??

@robb Ahh, that makes more sense. I was clicking around on Almanac and couldn't figure out why you were jumping around the seasons.

@pratik Quite handsome, in fact.

@gregmorris Noooo what a bummer! 🙁

@jarrod @pratik And by “submit some feedback”, I mean I’ll tag @tvforecastapp here so you they can see our whole discussion! 🙂

@pratik How many shows do you watch at once? You could set up a page with a handful of the small widgets and just change one’s source when you finish a show. Not super elegant, but would work. I’ll submit some feedback that larger interactive widgets are desired.

@jwithy Ah, thanks for the heads up!

@pratik Would you look at that! TV Forecast does have an interactive widget. But just a small one, and you either choose a specific show or have automatically populate one. So you could have multiple of the widgets for your current shows with a little manual effort. You tap the small checkmark to mark the episode as watched. I’ve seen TV Time but the design doesn’t gel with me.

@pratik Ooh I’m a sucker for stats. I love how Trakt works like an RSS or email backend so you can try out all the apps with your actual data.

@dvdlite Nice cc: @pratik

@pratik Yeah… that’d be the healthy choice. But sometimes I want to know right away cause it’s fun! And I can choose whether to jump in to respond or just wait until later.

@jsonbecker Is there a feed for just my mentions? I actually do have my full feed in a section of my RSS reeder too, but sometimes I like the app experience.

@amerpie That was required reading for an Honors class in school, and I’m glad it was.
