@pratik I hadn’t connected the dots back to the very beginning. Astute observation!
@numericcitizen Awesome!
And here’s Nick Heer with an excellent point:
But relentless user confirmation is not a good answer for privacy, security, or competition. It merely kicks the can down the road, and suggests users cannot be trusted, yet must bear all the responsibility for their choices.
@jarrod Two things that rub me wrong about Grammarly: (1) Having it running all the time and inserting its opinions into every text field on macOS, and (2) I’m always swapping to its third-party keyboard by mistake on iOS.
@quiddle Yeah, that’s something to do with how different mastodon clients display content. I do my posts with Micro.blog so everything is hosted from my own website. But that doesn’t play nicely with all the different clients. Sorry for the weird formatting, but if you want to see the original you can always tap the permalink. 🙂
@numericcitizen Maybe they have the same external power supply + ethernet port that the iMac uses? Could be nice for consumers, but problematic for business that rack mount them.
@Viditb Haha, this is so cool!
@gregmorris Looks like I have a new book to read! 🙂
@jeffperry Hard disagree. Besides streaming, I’m using it in all the same ways as before. Many hours of podcasts every day, and am excited to see what new stuff the modern framing will enable.
@ibmacin Welcome to the 13 mini club! Tissues are in the corner. 😂
@ibmacin Does it fit the bill?
@ibmacin Yeah! And for throwing in a backpack for local travel. No need for something bulkier.
@samjc Gee, thanks!
@canion [Looks for hidden message in the cuts 🧐]
@the @johnjohnston Oh yeah, those too! If I need to log in to see something, you’ve probably lost me.
@amerpie Thanks buddy!
@jddavis Ahh, that’s a good idea. I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!
@V_ Ah that would have been fun. Small steps.
@numericcitizen You bet 🙂
@Havn Thanks for reading! And yeah, I had the same issue. Luckily I still have a device not on the beta and used that one.
@snptrs Yeah, you’re probably right. Although I probably would have made the same decision!
@humdrum Totally fair. Those things haven’t bothered me yet, and I’m optimistic about them getting fixed sooner rather than later.
@joshuagrady Good luck! I’m giving it a shot too and am excited to see what you come up with.
@sod I like this a lot!
