You know how in The Santa Clause, Tim Allen’s beard grows back the moment he looks back at it? That just happened with the snow in my driveway. I got home and shoveled. It was not snowing. I open the door a short time later and BAM! A fresh inch of snow. Out of nowhere! 🫠 📷
I helped out at the ski jumps for the FISU World University Games tonight. Best seat* in the house! (*I was standing, and eyeballing where the jumpers landed as a backup in case of camera/computer failure.)

Saw the weirdest phenomenon driving back into town the other night. Every light appeared to be shining directly into the sky. We thought the city had set up spotlights they were so bright. 📷

Had some great runs today on a ghost town of a mountain. Finally skied from the Whiteface summit, and tested out a pair of DPS Wailers. Pretty surfy skis for the wet and compacted conditions, but still so much fun. Btw, you gotta check out the Slopes app

Jo is taking a big test this morning to advance her care for patients and be able to do more care on her own without supervision. She’s learned so much from UH Trauma and the last 6 months here in Saranac Lake Emergency that she’s been able to take it way ahead of most PAs. I’m so proud of my bad-ass wife, and hope you’ll join me in wishing her good luck! 📷
