After 10 years of thinking about it during hundreds of runs, I finally beat 8th-grade Jarrod running cross country. My best time for our 2-mile races back then was 16:02. Today, I cut about 30 seconds off that time and then continued on four more miles in the 80-degree heat. 📷

A workout summary shows 6.04 miles covered in 50 minutes and 24 seconds with an average heart rate of 190 BPM and an average pace of 8 minutes and 19 seconds per mile.
